Tip |Page labelling in a Channel Group component

Learn how to easily label pages within a Channel Group component for clear organization and navigation.

The Channel Group component is handy for keeping designs organized when using the same processing chains repeatedly.  Another useful tool is a label to tell the user what the group box page is wired to.

  1. Drag a Channel Group component in to the design space
  2. Add desired control or audio components to the Channel Group component. This example will use a low pass filter, high pass filter, and a 4-band parametric EQ.

  1. In the Channel Group component properties, set the channel count to 4 and Audio Inputs/Outputs count to 1. 
    1. Set the Controls Inputs/Outputs to 0.

  1. Add to the channel Group component, a Custom Controls component.  Set that to Text Edit 
  2. Drag the Text Edit box in the Channel Group component design space. 
  3. Change the font and size of the box to desired size and font
  4. Emulate and press the 1 in the Channel Group component.
    1. Type in any text you want 
  5. Repeat his process for every page in the Channel Group component.
