How To | Integrate Avaya IP Office Server Edition 10 with VoIP and Core 110f
Gain an understanding of integrating Avaya IP Office Server Edition 10 with VoIP and Core 110f, including how to set up and configure the system.
Procedure
Avaya IP Office Server Edition 10 is a cloud-based VoIP phone system. Avaya supports use of X-Lite (a freeware VoIP softphone) with it.
X-Lite settings can be copied to the Q-SYS softphone. Once X-Lite is made to work with the Avaya system, you can use the same settings in the Q-SYS softphone.
If the system has problems with SIP you can use POTS: set up FXS ports through an analog telephone adapter. If the Core 110f needs more than one POTS connection you can add a Patton SmartNode to expand its capacity.
For more information on third-party telephone integration with Q-SYS, see the help topic SIP Conferencing Integration.
