Advice
There are multiple components in Q-SYS Designer Software that allow for real-time Core-to-Core audio streaming.
Q-LAN TX/RX
All Q-LAN components are unicast. Each stream can transmit up 16 channels. Streaming is limited by the number of network channels/streams available. No License required. Can use the Q-LAN or Audinate QoS preset.
See the Q-LAN Transmitter and Q-LAN Receiver topics in Q-SYS Help to learn more.
AES67 TX/RX
All AES67 components are multicast. AES67 is compatible cross-platform with up 10 channels per stream. Streaming is limited to the number of network channels/streams available. No License required. Can use the Q-LAN or Audinate QoS preset.
See the AES67 Transmitter and AES67 Receiver topics in Q-SYS Help to learn more.
System Link
System link is designed to transport multicast audio (uncompressed) and Q-SYS Shift video (compressed) over a network from Core to Core. Audio is limited to 8 channels per stream. Limited to the number of network channels/streams available. No license required. Can use the Q-LAN or Audinate QoS preset.
See the System Link topic in Q-SYS Help to learn more.
Software-based Dante
Software Dante can do unicast (one to one) or multicast (one to many) and is compatible cross-platform. A Software Dante feature license is required on each Core. Streaming is limited to the number of network channels/Dante flows available.

CDN64 Dante Audio Bridge Card
The CND64 card can do unicast (one to one) or multicast (one to many) and is compatible cross-platform. The CDN64 card can be added to Q-SYS Cores and peripherals with card slots (Core 3100, 510i, 500i, 250i, I/O Frame, I/O Frame 8S). Streaming is limited to the number of network channels/Dante flows available. No additional license is required.
