Tip | Use Find (Ctrl+F) to trace signal flow and find UCI references
Learn how to efficiently trace signal flow and find UCI references by utilizing the Find (Ctrl F) function.
Advice
In large designs, it can be difficult to track signal flow connections or UCI references. Using the find tool allows you to quickly find a source, destination, or reference points.
- Click on a signal/control tag or UCI element in a design
- Use Find (Ctrl+F) a window will pop up with Find Results showing any source or destination of a signal/control tag or UCI element.
- Click on the source or destination. Q-SYS Designer will take you to the component or tag. The background will be dimmed and the component or tag will flash.
