Procedure


The Netgear Tech Support file is a diagnostic file generated by Netgear switches that contains detailed information about the device's configuration, logs, and operational status. This information may be necessary when troubleshooting an issue with Q-SYS Support.

To download the Tech-Support file:

From AV UI

  1. Navigate to the AV UI of the switch.
  2. Go to the Diagnostics tab.
  3. Click Support Diagnostics sub-tab.
  4. Click Download Files

 
 

From Main UI

  1. Navigate to the Main UI of the switch.
  2. Go to the Maintenance tab.
  3. Click Export sub-tab.
  4. In HTTP File Export, select File Type: Tech Support.
  5. Click Apply
