How To | Downloading Tech Support file from Q-SYS NS Series Gen 2 (M4250) network switches
Learn how to easily download the Tech Support file from your Q-SYS NS Series Gen 2 (M4250) network switches in order to efficiently troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise.
Procedure
The Netgear Tech Support file is a diagnostic file generated by Netgear switches that contains detailed information about the device's configuration, logs, and operational status. This information may be necessary when troubleshooting an issue with Q-SYS Support.
To download the Tech-Support file:
From AV UI
- Navigate to the AV UI of the switch.
- Go to the Diagnostics tab.
- Click Support Diagnostics sub-tab.
- Click Download Files.
From Main UI
- Navigate to the Main UI of the switch.
- Go to the Maintenance tab.
- Click Export sub-tab.
- In HTTP File Export, select File Type: Tech Support.
- Click Apply.
