Yes. In a RoomSuite Modular System (RMS) deployment, Q-SYS Connect acts as the software bridge that enables certified UC control workflows to function within RMS’s configuration environment. It provides the real-time communication layer between the UC platform, Q-SYS control surfaces, and the RMS processor, ensuring all components operate as a unified system.
Q-SYS Connect is required if you want to display Zoom Rooms call controls on Q-SYS touch controllers or enable the MTR second-page experience. Without Q-SYS Connect, these UC control features are not available within the RoomSuite Modular System interface.
