Factory Reset | MPA-Q Series Amplifiers

Discover how to perform a factory reset on MP-Q Series amplifiers and restore them to original settings.

Procedure


Use the following steps to reset MPA-Q Series amplifiers to their factory default settings:

Note

The factory reset process will reset all of the network settings to default (DHCP) and will reset the host name to the default name. Additionally, the process will delete the access control settings and the system information logs.

 

Pinhole Reset

  1. Locate the pinhole button:

  1. Use a paperclip to press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds
  2. Press the ‘ID’ button to confirm the reset
 
 

Front Panel Reset

  1. With the unit powered on and fully booted, hold the “Page” and “ID” buttons simultaneously.
    1. The display will read “Factory reset in 3 s”.
    2. Hold both buttons until the OLED display finishes counting down from 3.

  1. The OLED display will now read “Press ID to confirm”. Release both buttons and press the “ID” button to begin the Factory Reset.

    Note

    Factory Reset can be cancelled by pressing the “Page” button.

     
  1. If successful, the OLED Display will now read “FACTORY RESET Done – Rebooting”.
  2. Once the unit is fully rebooted, the Factory Reset process is complete.
