When accessing the Tools menu in Q-SYS Designer Software, Show Core Manager appears greyed out.
Causes | Verification
Q-SYS Designer is running in Emulation mode, or disconnected from a Core. Q-SYS must be connected to a running design to access Core Manager via the Tools menu.
Solution | Workaround
- Connect to a running Core/design, then access Core Manager via Tools menu
If Offline/Emulating
- Use Configurator to discover and connect to Core Manager
- Enter the Core's IP address in your web browser to access Core Manager.
