As of Zoom Rooms versions 6.6, Zoom released the ability for a room controls app to see when the room controls tab is pressed on a Zoom Rooms controller. Q-SYS now utilizes this command to fully load the Q-SYS control UCI only when it is requested. This is done to free up background processing power on Zoom Rooms controllers. This update, in conjunction with UCI performance improvements released in Q-SYS version 10.1, provides greater stability and reliability for the Q-SYS Room Controls app for Zoom Rooms.
If you find that your UCI takes a long time to load and is being accessed frequently, consider removing extra/unneeded elements from the UCI. You may also optionally set the Room Controls UCI as the home screen on your Zoom Rooms controller from the Zoom Rooms admin settings, found under Room Settings > Devices > Enable Room Controls.
