FAQ | What is the default password on a Q-SYS Core?
Answer
Q-SYS Cores by default are not assigned an access password. If an Access Control password has been set on a Core, the following options should be considered.
- Contact the original integrator to retrieved the password information if it has been recorded.
- If you have a backup of the design file, a factory reset will clear the password and allow you to redeploy the design to the Core.
- If there is no existing backup of the design, it will be necessary to factory reset and rebuild the design.
Note:
In cases of factory reset, all installed feature licenses will be preserved.
