There are several differences between the LTS and mainline builds of Q-SYS Designer Software.
LTS
- Maintains the feature set of the selected build architecture
- 9.4.x is the current LTS build set
- Focuses on stability of the included features over adding new functions
- Maintained with patch releases as required to address critical bugs and security updates
- May receive support for minor revisions to already supported hardware
- Minimum lifespan of 24 months maintenance or until promotion of a new LTS release
Mainline (Current) Releases
- Contains latest new features and new hardware support
- Maintained with patch releases as required to address critical bugs and security updates
