Factory Reset | Attero Tech Synapse Series Interfaces
Learn how to perform a factory reset on Attero Tech Synapse Series Interfaces for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes.
Procedure
Use the following steps to reset an Attero Tech Synapse interface to its factory default settings:
- Using a paperclip or small screw driver, press the reset button access at the front panel.
- Hold the button for 5 seconds.
- If the screen was active, it will go blank.
- Release the reset button after the 5 seconds.
The device will now restart.
Note
All Dante settings are reset including device name and channel names, the Ethernet port mode will be defaulted back to redundant mode and the IP address setup will be reset to get an IP address dynamically.
