Updated at February 2nd, 2024

Procedure

Use the following steps to reset an I/O Frame to its factory default settings:

  1. Locate the pinhole reset on the front panel of the device:

  1. Use a paperclip to push and hold the reset button. Once pressed, a timer will display on the LCD display and will count down from ten. When the timer reaches zero, the I/O Frame will automatically proceed with the factory reset.
  2. Wait for the device to complete the reset process and reboot. This can take a couple minutes.

Note

The factory reset process will reset all of the network settings to default (DHCP) and will reset the host name to the default name. Additionally, the process will delete the access control settings and the system information logs.
