"Missing - Unsupported hardware revision"
The Status/Control component for the affected device will display the error message and will display the color code red in its Status control. You will also see this in the other places you can monitor status such as when hovering your cursor over the inventory listing for the device and in Core Manager. Additionally, all controls for the affected device will be disabled and have a translucent orange overlay.
Definition
The device you are using has had firmware installed that cannot correctly control the device. In order to resolve the error you will need to install a newer version of firmware that includes the updates needed to control the hardware properly. The firmware version required to resolve the error depends on which device is showing the error. See the tabs below for more details:

The serial numbers listed below use the variables ‘#’ to represent variable numbers and ‘X’ to represent variable letters. The characters in any specific serial number that correspond to these variables can be disregarded when comparing that serial number against the serial numbers listed below.
TSC-55w-G2
TSC-55w-G2 touch screen controllers with serial number X08200001 or higher requires firmware version 8.3.0 or newer.
TSC-80w-G2
TSC-80w-G2 touch screen controllers with serial numbers X26210001 or higher requires firmware version 9.1.2 or newer.
TSC Series Gen 3 (all models)
All TSC-50-G3, TSC-70-G3, and TSC-101-G3 touch screen controllers with serial number ##XX2312000001 or higher requires firmware version 9.1.2 or newer.
CX-Q / CXD-Q Amplifiers (all models)
All CX-Q series amplifiers between serial number ##XX2226000001 and ##XX2322000001 require firmware version 9.4.0 or newer. All CX-Q series amplifiers with serial number ##XX2322000001 or higher require firmware version 9.7.0 or newer or 9.4.4 LTS or newer.
Warning
Because the new parts that impose these firmware requirements are also used to repair all CX-Q and CXD-Q series amplifiers, an amp with a serial number lower than those listed may still be subject to the new firmware requirements.
As such, any CX-Q or CXD-Q series amplifier that was repaired between July 2022 and July 2023 may require firmware version 9.4.0 or newer and any CX-Q or CXD-Q series amplifier that has been repaired after July 2023 may require firmware version 9.7.0 or newer or 9.4.4 LTS or newer.
