Definition

If this error appears when starting Emulation mode, it could be due to having a non-standard color profile. This can cause issues with PingPlotter and other .NET WPF applications used by Designer.

 

Solution | Workaround

If your system is not currently using the System Default (sRGB IEC61966-2.1), try the following:

  1. Open the Windows Start menu and search for Color Management. Note that you may need to run it with administrator privileges.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab.
  3. For Device profile, change the dropdown selection to System Default (sRGB IEC61966-2.1).
  4. Click Close, and then restart Designer.
