Problem
Q-SYS Designer Software will not complete installation without an internet connection.
Causes
Q-SYS Designer Software (QDS) requires an internet connection for installation if the prerequisite Microsoft C++ libraries are not currently installed on the PC. This "sub" installer is included with the installer for QDS.
Solutions
- Connect your PC to the internet allowing the QDS installer to automatically download the necessary content.
- Alternatively, you can download the x64 2015-2022 C++ Redistributable packages from Microsoft before installing QDS.
