Tech Note | Integrate nSYA IR Partition Sensor with Q-SYS for Automated Room Combining
Learn how to seamlessly integrate the nSYA IR Partition Sensor with Q-SYS for efficient automated room combining.
Information
The nSYA IR Partition Sensor is a class 2 low voltage infrared sensor, used to detect the opening and closure of partitioned spaces. It can be wired to Q-SYS GPIO blocks to integrate the partition sensing function into a Q-SYS design. This particular partition sensor requires a Q-SYS GPIO interface that provides 12VDC output, and the GPIO inputs on the Q-SYS GPIO device must be set to Digital Input. Information on which Q-SYS Hardware devices are equipped with a 12VDC GPIO block can be found in the GPIO Interface help file.
