How To | Set a static IP address to a Core processor

Learn how to easily set up a static IP address on a Core processor and optimize your network connectivity.

Procedure


Use the following steps for setting a static IP address to a Core processor:

  1. Open Core Manager.

    Note

    If you do not know the current IP of the Core, you can use Configurator in Q-SYS Designer to discover the it and connect to Core Manage. You must be connected to the same network, or directly to the Core's LAN port.

     
  2. Navigate to Network.
  3. Select Basic.

  1. Click the Edit button on the upper left of the screen.

  1. For the desired LAN port, click the Mode dropdown menu.
  2. Select Static.
  3. Fill in the IP Address and Netmask fields as needed.
  4. Click Save

Note

After setting the static IP, it may be necessary to change the PC network settings to the same subnet to reconnect to the Core.
