How To | Set a static IP address to a Core processor
Learn how to easily set up a static IP address on a Core processor and optimize your network connectivity.
Procedure
Use the following steps for setting a static IP address to a Core processor:
- Open Core Manager.
Note
If you do not know the current IP of the Core, you can use Configurator in Q-SYS Designer to discover the it and connect to Core Manage. You must be connected to the same network, or directly to the Core's LAN port.
- Navigate to Network.
- Select Basic.
- Click the Edit button on the upper left of the screen.
- For the desired LAN port, click the Mode dropdown menu.
- Select Static.
- Fill in the IP Address and Netmask fields as needed.
- Click Save.
Note
After setting the static IP, it may be necessary to change the PC network settings to the same subnet to reconnect to the Core.
