Problem
New version of Q-SYS Designer Software is not connecting to Core.
Causes
This can occur if the Q-SYS Core processor is running older firmware.
Solution | Workaround
To communicate with the Core:
- Install the same version of Q-SYS Designer Software as the firmware version on the Core (or, within the same major release - 7.x, 8.x, etc.).
- Follow the Upgrade Path Requirements in the Q-SYS Release Notes to upgrade to the current release.
