Procedure

The advantage of using control pins in Q-SYS is that the logic pins will break logic loops due to the way the Q-SYS Core processor handles the logic in control frames. This allows for mutes to be routed back and forth without any issue of which one is pressed.

However, USB Mute operates independently of the control frame. If introduced with the same pin logic, this causes a logic loop. The best way to break that loop is to make use of named components and scripting.
