Procedure

Below are the steps for exposing the pins in the Q-SYS Global Cache User Component.

  1. Open GlobalCache User Component Container.
  2. Unlock All (Under Tools).
  3. “Global Cache Code” Scriptable Controls component is under “MAC Address”; see NOTE1 below.
  4. Select the Scriptable Controls to:
    1. Get access to the script
    2. View entire layout of controls and control names
    3. Edit what controls have in/out pins exposed

 

Note

If multiple pins are newly exposed, it may be better to drag the “Global Cache Code” to the bottom of the Container, since it will be expanded with additional pins.
