FAQ | Can the CX-Q / CXD-Q Series amplifiers pass Dante audio?
Answer
The CX-Q and CXD-Q Series amplifiers are QLAN-based for audio transport and cannot directly process Dante protocol.
However, Dante audio may be passed to these amps in a Q-SYS system involving a Core DSP receiving via software-based Dante or CDN64 cards. The Core will translate the incoming Dante audio to QLAN for the amplifiers to output.
