FAQ | Is there a visible indication on the Q-SYS Core front panel that the Core has a software license?

No, there is no direct message on the front panel regarding a license. However, it will tell you if the Core processor is in a ‘fault’ or ‘compromised’ state. 

If the Core processor does not have the required feature license, it will not run the design file and the front panel will display “no design file running”, “offline” or “idle”. 

If you have the appropriate feature licenses, your Core processor will run the design with no compromised or fault message displayed. 

If you are using Not-for-Resale (NFR) or Demo license, which are time-limited for QSC sales partners and are to be used for a demonstration or tradeshow system, the Q-SYS Core will display a compromised message prior to expiration of the license.
