While the programming of a Q-SYS Core 110f processor can be made redundant, there are connections that do not support redundancy, such as USB, POTS, VOIP, as well as other physical technologies.

The redundant Core 110f would be able to take over the role and responsibilities as programmed, but connections that do not support redundancy would have to be re-established afterwards.
