"Checking Firmware on Core(s)
The remote server returned and error: (409) Conflict."

Definition

When downgrading firmware from a Q-SYS Core processor that is running Q-SYS version 9.1.0 or higher, the message may appear when Q-SYS Designer Software checks the firmware version. This is expected. Firmware Signing was added in Q-SYS version 9.1.0. As a result, there is a specific setting in Q-SYS Core Manager to allow downgrading of firmware.

Solution | Workaround

To downgrade firmware, you must enable the "Allow Legacy Unsigned Firmware" option in Core Manager > Utilities. This option is disabled be default.

To learn more, see the Utilities topic in the Core Manager section of Q-SYS Help.
