How To | Setting up AEC with a voice lift system (non-ceiling microphone)
Learn how to effectively set up AEC with a voice lift system.
Procedure
Use the following steps for setting up AEC with a voice lift system (with non-ceiling microphones):
- Wire the design in a manner similar to the example below (this may differ based on the system specifications)
- In AEC Properties, set the Shared Reference to No.
- Set Reinforcement Outputs to Yes.
- Ensure that each microphone being reinforced is referencing every other microphone except the one in use (usually good to start at about -18db).
- Reference the far end and program audio (starting at 0db and adjusting as needed to remove echo).
- Route the reinforcement outputs to the speakers in room being used for reinforcement and the conference outputs are only routed to the far end.
