Problem
The IRC-28 times out during firmware update.
Causes
In very old firmware versions, the IRC-28 panel may have a check box option called Reboot on Lease Terminate. If it’s on "yes" the device will reboot itself midway through the firmware pushes. It will reboot every minute if it is playing captions normally thus interrupting normal operations as well.
Solution | Workaround
- Locate the option called Reboot on Lease Terminate.
- Using the dropdown, change it to No.
