This article will show you how to extend VoIP service by connecting to a second remote IP subnet.

Updated at May 3rd, 2023

Procedure

If you have already set a Gateway on one of your Core's LAN ports to communicate with a remote IP subnet and need to add an additional remote IP subnet for a VoIP line, you should add a static route.

Caution

DO NOT configure a Gateway on more than one LAN interface. This is known to cause communication and other issues on a Core processor.

To learn more about static routing, see the Addressing & Routing topic in Q-SYS Help.
