How To | Allow dry contact and relay closures on GPIO connections
Save time and effort by learning how to reliably enable dry contact output and receive trigger signals using GPIO connections.
Procedure
On each of the DA-15 GPIO Components on a Core or I/O Frame, there is a single RNC and RNO connection.
In order to trigger the relay from within Q-SYS:
- First expose the "Relay Out" control as part of the GPIO Control Component.
- From there you can use any Toggle Button or create your own customer control to send the Relay Command.
Tip
You can select the GPIO component and hit the F1 key on your keyboard for additional information from the "Help File".
