Factory Reset | Q-SYS Page Stations (PS-1600H / 1600G or PS-1650H / 1650G)

In some cases, it may be necessary to restore a Q-SYS Page Station to its factory default settings.

Procedure


  1. Check that the Page Station is powered on by PoE or Aux power.
  2. The display must read "OfflIne".
  3. Enter the Offline Menu (How To: Entering the Offline Menu of Q-SYS Page Stations ).
  4. Once in the offline menu, press the Talk/Start button once to show the device name.
  5. Using a paper clip or other similar sized device, insert into the pinhole found on the right side while facing the Page Station
  6. Once inserted, you'll here a quick beep and the display will read "Clear settings in 10 seconds".
  7. Hold through the countdown until the display reads "Clearing settings. Please wait...", then release.
  8. The screen will quickly go blank and then say "Welcome Initializing. Please wait...".
  9. After the Initializing, the unit will reboot. This can take up to 1 minute.
  10. Once the reboot is complete the Page Station will show "Offline" in the display. The device name will revert to factory default and Lan A and B ports will set to auto.
