The following is an example of general configuration and behavior for Contact Closure Input setup on the QIO-GP8x8.

This setup is typically used for:

• Microphone “Mute / Un-mute” switch.
• “Lullabye” button in hospitals.

Here is Q-SYS GPIO Input in Contact Closure mode ->  in an open and closed state. -> Switch Open -> Logic State = 0 and Boolean State = false -> Switch closed -> Logic State = 1 and Boolean state = True -> The opposite of the Digital Input TTL in low and high State.
